Diana Hurtado

I am Diana Hurtado, Director for Rising Star Preschool. I believe in helping our community around us reach their full potential. As growing up in San Diego County, I knew I was destined to work with children and families. I graduated from Lincoln High School and pursued my degree at Southwestern College in Child Development. My journey here at Rising Star Preschool started back in 2020, during the covid 19 pandemic. Rising Star Preschool is full of opportunities to grow professionally. I started as a substitute teacher, worked my way up as teacher, then lead teacher, and now as a Director. My goals and vision paired with Rising Star Preschool and I knew this was the correct place for me. We are here to make a difference in our community.

A BIT ABOUT ME
I am a San Diego native. I graduated from Lincoln High School and went on to pursue my degree at Southwestern College. I am happily married and have a son who attend Rising star Preschool. In my free time, I love to spend it with my family exploring our beautiful city of San Diego.
